Why am collecting these memories...

I have a special request...
I am attempting to collect memories and stories of my mother. I want to get to know my mother better and I need your help. The memories that I have of my mother are of a more depressing time after my father left, but I know there was so much more to her life. I want to learn more about her in her happier years.
