Fort Benjamin Harrison provided support for the U.S. Army Financial and Accounting Center, the U.S. Army Administration Center, the Defense Information School, the U.S. Army Enlisted Records and Evaluation Center and other tenant activities. That mission ceased on September 30, 1995. (http://www.in.gov/idem/4226.htm)
The Defense Finance and Accounting Service - Indianapolis Center was transferred from the Department of the Army to the Department of Administration in 1995.

I remember my mother working forever...
I do not think I can recall a time that she didn't work. She came home every evening tired, taking off shoes and stockings...
Sometimes she would bring me leftovers from going out to lunch. I loved these treats!
